Calder: In Motion, The Shirley Family Collection

Overview

The inaugural exhibition, Calder: In Motion, The Shirley Family Collection, showcased the bequest of over 40 artworks, estimated at over $200 million. This exhibition was featured in The New York Times and the Seattle Times.

My Role
Since the project was publicly announced in Spring 2023, I have served as the lead Creative Project Manager for Calder at SAM.

I spearheaded our expedited creative campaign timeline and workflow and the production of our creative asset suite, which involved coordinating with the contracted LA-based studio, INFO.CO, on the production of the lockup and brand identity.

I continue to manage design updates to the live Calder at SAM website, which serves as the digital home for the project and database for the collection.

I am also a key point of contact for the Calder Foundation, who reviews and approves all creative and promotional materials, and the donor’s liaison.
